Director's Bio - JT Seaton JT Seaton was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. And that’s about all there is to say about that. JT began making films at an early age, after pilfering his father’s Super8 camera. His first works featured all-star casts, including Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill. Or at least their action figures. In time, JT moved on to real people. One might say that it was inevitable that JT would eventually attend film school. And that time did in fact arrive. JT received an MFA in Directing for Theatre, Video & Cinema from California Institute of the Arts. Or course having a piece of paper that says you can make movies doesn’t necessarily mean that you can make movies. So instead of waiting for Hollywood to knock on his door (and Hollywood has the address), JT began producing his own films. Which brings us up to date. What’s on the horizon for JT? His next short film will be a musical entitled “Sing Anywhere”. Plus a feature thriller entitled “Rage”, about a young man, driven by a “justified” outrage, who takes the parents of his lover hostage in their own home. Not to mention a feature film version of “NIGHTSHADOWS” in the works. All in all, JT keeps pretty busy. And that’s just the way he likes it… |
